Indonesia Volcano Relief

As Mount Merapi has erupted for a third time in Indonesia, Our Village has partnered with local Indonesian groups to help the 47,000 people who have been displaced in refugee camps. 

Currently our friends in Indonesia have built 5 refugee centers where over 5000 people and 1000 children have come for shelter and food. Many of the refugees have lost their homes and are in need of supplies and resources.

Sheharbano Orphan Project

In 2009 Sheharbano Sangji tragically passed away at the young age of 23. Sheri herself was a humanitarian and shared the same values and belief as Our Village.

The Sheharbanu Orphan Project was started to help maintain her tradition of sponsoring children around the world! Funds raised have already helped kids in Pakistan, Cambodia, Tanzania & Indonesia!

Indonesian Earthquake
Child Day Camp & Trauma Relief Centre

OUR VILLAGE joined a coalition of local and international organizations called "Posko Kemanusiaan - Jogja Bangkit", or Humanitarian Centre - Wake Up Jogja" which is a relief distriution centre in Yogyakarta.

OUR VILLAGE supported the development of Children Day Camps and Trauma Relief Centres in rural villages where government aid was unavaiable or limited.

Philippine Mudslide

OUR VILLAGE worked alongside the Catholic Church in St. Bernard, Southern Leyte in the Phillippines to help support over 100 orphans who had been left behind by the devastating mudslide. Click here for more details.

Eid Gifts for Orphans and Refugees

With the money raised prior to going to Pakistan to Volunteer in October 2005, Our Village purchased a number of toys for children in refugee camps and orphanages.
