The devastating Landslide took place in the Barangay (Village) of Guinsaugon, St. Bernard located in Southern Leyte. The amount of people affected by this tragedy is over 14,000.

The population of Guinsaugon was almost 1500 and the village had 2 schools, a doctors office and many other establishments along with farms and livestock. Over 1000 people have been declared dead, buried alive in the mass grave. There are now over 100 Orphans who survived because their schools were in other villages nearby.

The Orphans are now under the care of
the Catholic Church and Hope Worldwide

OUR VILLAGE with the help of the Catholic Parish Church in St. Bernard are collecting donations to help support the Orphans.

The Orphans are in need of basic supplies, medical care, and financing for their new orphanage, and for the new school year set to begin in June.  Please donate towards these Orphans and help ensure they can achieve all of their goals and dreams.

All donations will be sent to the St. Bernard Catholic Church and used only for the aid of the Orphans.

Please visit the donations page to see all the different ways you can contribute.
